From the moment he reached out and our staff heard “Last Time”, we knew Baltimore had something in their hands. What really makes the 21-year-old artist stand out is the fact that besides creating meaningful music, he knows how to come across professionally when speaking business and that certifies his place amongst the successful. Take a moment to watch his video premiere and learn more about Eman The Heartbreak with our quick Q&A
- Why the Name? Why The Heartbreak?
Eman The Heartbreak: “Seeing how it’s one of the most detrimental things that can happen to a person, how somebody responds to a heartbreak can culture them and shape their worldview. I want my music to do the same thing. Want it to kinda stick with you the same way a heartbreak does.”
- Want to tell us about the LP title?

While I was recording, somebody walked in and said “Pretty good man, real rap” and at face value that doesn’t seem bad but the fact that I’ve been working on it since high school it really hit me hard because how could something I put all my time into still just be “pretty good.” You have to make music or art BEAUTIFUL. So since then I’ve buckled down and started grinding as it finally hit me that “pretty, good” but “beautiful, better.”
- Anything to say about your short-film?
“As far as concerning the video, what I can say about it is that it encapsulates my struggles these past few years as an artist.
Eman The Heartbreak, we appreciate you and look forward to your LP
